The flare command

Void runs, migrates and deploys the app (void dev, void db, void deploy). The flare command only starts one and adds the plugins to it (decisions §1).

Command
flare create <dir> A new Void app from starters/verano: Verano’s Vue pages, organizations, roles, invitations and tasks. Writes a random BETTER_AUTH_SECRET to .env
flare create <dir> --starter api From starters/api instead: a JSON API with organizations, roles and tasks, no pages
flare create <dir> [--standalone] Inside a pnpm workspace the app joins it and create prints what the root lacks; --standalone makes it its own root
flare create <dir> --link Keeps workspace:* links, for apps inside the Flare monorepo
flare add <plugin> Adds a plugin, e.g. access. Not yet: it says so and exits 1

flare --help and flare <command> --help list the commands and flags.

Installing an app needs npm login with access to the Recranet org: @recranet/flare and Verano’s packages are restricted (decisions §18).
